I did not realize the lack of leather support in the back of these boots. I guess it is for a flex point but I personally do not like it. Returning. They are made well just was looking for something different.

Excellent boot; but I recommend that people select wider width and maybe a 1/2 size larger. I purchased 8-4E, whereas I normally wear 8-2E (confirmed by Brannock measurement); and these 4E boots fit well with socks on, with a little bit of toe-wiggling room. I purchased from elsewhere previously a 8-3E, but that pair was tight width-wise and the length was okay; my largest three toes were underneath the steel toe. Based on that experience, I found Shoeline, with a good price on these, and ordered the 4E. It was a good move. The boots feel good underneath the feet, and heavy leather feels that it will give good protection. I think that if I chose a half-size larger, that would give a good fit, too.

I've been wearing this boot for over thirty years!! Bought several pair of the blend from an outlet store till they retired. Got online one day to locate somewhere to by these! I have ordered several pair from Shoeline now I keep a new pair in the closet!! I'm sixty years old and don't have feet problems! Do I derserve a complimentary pair yet! Lol

I would surely recommend this boots to another person looking to purchase an American Made boot. They fit comfortable and noted; these boots are so comfortable that you can sleep in them without damage to your feet, pin-needle feelings, and/or without creases on your foot. This is a very comfortable, durable steel toe work boot. UNION MADE IN THE USA! doesn't get any better than that. I stand on my feet 10-14 hrs. a day so I needed a boot that would hold up to that. This boot performs just like I expected from Carolina.

When the shoe is made in wide the safety toe is made to narrow should be made in broad toe other than that the shoe fits well

Were other boots i couldn’’t wait to take them off after work Just use mink oil and the boots will be broken in no timeOil Helps water proof’’em since they are water resistant . These boots are GREAT Use to wear the Carolina gold they stop making them have tried ever kind of boots made couldn’’t find any I liked or that were comfortable. Well made comfortable boot. I have wide feet and have always had trouble finding good fitting foot wear particulaly when it comes to safety toes. This is my first experience with Carolina boots and Im impressed. They also have an easy break in period. Now to see how well they hold up.

A little more than I wanted to spend since I go through boots pretty quick. I work on heavy equipment in the rail yards and it eats boots up. I will have to see how they hold up but as far as comfort and fit they are great.

Boot fits perfect no rubbing after one week on the job. Would like to see larger hooks for lacing and a pull on loop would be nice. I have worn Carolina boots before and have had good luck with them. I work heavy construction which is not easy on boots.
