OK!! here's the results for this item. I regularly wear a 9-2e on loggers, so furthermore if you are flat and wide footed I would recommend a 9 1/2-D size unless you differ. My first pair didn't even fit half way in due to the width of my foot. I couldn't insert my foot at all. Although I could of gone a half size bigger (toe nail to heel)I stayed with the 9's and got the D width size so that my feet spread out better and uniformed. They do have to be broken in, so if you are planning to use thick or larger socks than usual, the recommendations are your gonna need another size and width larger. So please take this into consideration my widest part of the foot is 4-1/2 & by 10-1/2 toe nail to heel (front to back). So if you can use this information then please measure your feet and use it at a diagram. Remember that although they're using USA products they are assembled in different locations and specs may vary according to fitments. Thanks you shoeline
