I initially ordered this boot in an 8-1/2, thinking that I would be wearing heavy socks with them. (?!) I live in AZ. So I sent them back for the correct size. Perfectly sized - per usual for Born. Plenty of room for "heavy" socks. The only problem to advise you about is that the zipper is INCREDIBLY hard to move initially!! I mean I had to get out the pliers to get it going. I spent just about an hour working the darn thing up and down. I thought about the old trick of rubbing the teeth with candle wax, I even thought about 3-in-one oil, it was that stiff. It works better but still not great.
