I got my 1st pair of the 928 linesmen boots back in 1997, And that was it for me. Now these are all I wear. I do everything in them. And I wore them when I was in Iraq back in 2006/2007. I had the only pair in that Country I do believe, and These boots have literally saved my life on a few occasions. Had a sand viper bounce off them in Iraq, and have had Cotton mouths and rattlers do the same. They just can not bite through the leather, and thank God for that.

Ive had these boots for 3 years and wish I had known about them years ago. The fit is fine and the comfort is fine too. So for any one looking for a pair of boots like these, this is the place to find them. The price is right and the support they give your lower leg is great. I wouldnt hesitate to purchase another pair. I hope they keep making them when I need another pair. Another great thing about them is, theyre made in the US and its to find products made in the US.

Wore them to club party first day. At first some ball bustin but a lot of ?’s soft and fit well right out of box..Bad ass will buy more M.A G. A. NOT FOR SNOWFLAKES..I,M 52 and still a hard core biker

I've been wearing Corcoran combat, tank and jump boots for over 15 years. Even at their most broken in, none of them were ever as comfortable as this pair was right out of the box. Concerned about the sizing, I ordered a half size up, but I was swimming in them. my foot is a bit wider in the toes, but I have narrow ankles so it's kind of a tossup whether to get wide or regular. I returned those and got a second pair true size, regular width and they are still a bit roomy, but are comfortable for most day wear. If I need a little more stability, for playing in the woods or something, an extra pair of thick socks makes these snug and lovely. They can be a little hard to get on at first, but they'll warm up to you and get much easier. I also like that the tread isn't deep enough to catch rocks, so I don't have to worry so much about scuffing floors. Even though they were the most comfy boots I've had so far, I followed an army lifer's advice on breaking them in, and lord, it's like

These Lineman boots are not made like the 924 style They seem to fit wider than most 12W it maybe the style. Having said that they are still tough reliable boots for my work as an electrician and on the farm

liked these so much, I ordered another pair, then I get this great offer from shoeline.com so I ordered another pair, you know just in case they become unavailable in the future. I have an old kickstart only hardtail bobber and the double steel shank is awesome. another neat feature is the extra layer of leather right where the shift peg is. Now get ready for the coolest--------almost funny-------------super luckiest story, I was ridding home from work today, saw what looked to my color blind eyes to be a coiled up pile of shit in the road, swerved left to avoid it, IT WAS A RATTLE SNAKE! the sucker sprung at me, hit my right boot and hung on for a while, then fell off! thanks to my tall carolina boots I did not get hurt--------------got scared, but not hurt. So, these boots not only look cool as hell, but they can save you from snake bite! Get these boots! they are American made, they get you noticed, they get compliments every time you ware them.

This is a well made boot. They take a while to break in. They run at least one full size larger than Red Wing boots. All in all a good value for the money.

I have been looking for boots like this for years. Even on the web you have to know the words linemans boots to find them. since I have had these boots, several people have asked me where I got those awesome boots. Went to see a band Saturday night and the base player said "dude I love those boots, I'm so jealous" so I told him to go to shoeline.com and look for 16" tall Carolina linesman boots and don't give up till you find them because they are kind of hidden on the web site. but anyway, these boots are very well made, order 1/2 to 1 size smaller than you normally wear, I wear a 13 wide normally, but ordered 12 wide and they fit perfect, I have never been happier about a boot purchase, I feel lucky to have found these boots, I wear them with my jeans tucked in and I have to say they look awesome and feel great, these boots would sell like hotcakes if they were not so hard to find. We have order these Carolina Lineman 16" Boot size 12 R for over 25yrs. From either one company or another like this one. You buy direct they send direct. My Husband as all ways wore these boots for work. farm, and motorcycle. The support, durability, and "True Fit". These last pair are 12 R and to Wide and to long. Upon multi calls was told the "Style" was changed. 12R is 12 R rather it is a Lineman Boot, Cowboy Boot, Combat boot!!! 12R is 12 R This as been very much a frustrating experience!

I have been wearing these boots for years. I currently own 2 pair one is 10 years old and I am about to have them resoled for the first time. the other pair I wear for work and is 7 years old I have resoled that pair twice. Over all a damn fine well made high quality boot that will last you years with proper care. I plan to oder a new pair as a xmas present to myself this year.

Excellent choice for the price. I use them for motorcycle riding. The difference between these and the more exspensive ones is a metal plate as to not wear out soles when using them as linemens boots
