I have bowled for nearly forty years and Dexter SSTs for twenty years. This is the best bowling shoe. Even better than the newer SST 8s and "The 9" which are not foot specific models (left or right handed). If you replace the sliding sole every couple years these shoes will likely last over a decade, probably two. One thing I like is I have an older version of this shoe which has stitching lines going down the toe. The center stitching lines are separated by the width of a board which makes it easy to accurately line up my feet to within a 1/2 board. My only gripe, and it is insignificant, is they look more like street shoes than traditional bowling shoes.
