The Black Oiled Waterproof Insulated Composition Toe Logger 8-inch tall men's lace-up boot has the works. Its polished black leather exterior is classic and durable and features the Chip-A-Tex® waterproof membrane system that's still breathable. Water is locked out of the boot by the membrane shield but air passes through from the foot for maximum comfort. The black nickel non-tarnishable hooks and eyelets and heavy duty black wax laces add quality and the 5 Iron Texon® insoles offer flexibility and comfort in every step. Its composition toe is 35% lighter than a steel toe cap and has no heat or cold temperature transference or non-electrical conduction of magnetic charges. It's non-rusting, non-corrosive, and meets or exceeds ASTM F2413-11 standards for impact and compression.

Mixxed Feelings on width design. I bought these boots straight from Chippewa site. The boot actually is hands down built great. They are comfortable. I just dont like the large width in front of boot. The photo that represents this boot online on either websites or other retailers is shot in an angle that does not show the round front. When I recieved them, I thought I ordered the wrong boot. But after checking. These are correct but picture is misleading. I wish the boot was narrower in front. I am using them as a casual boot to wear with Jean.
