Boots arrived on time They seem to be very well made I did notice they were made in Pennsylvania which makes me think Double H actually is the maker of this boot I used the coupon code for a great discount on made in USA Boots It looks like they should last a long time

Extremely straight forward boot, it fits like it looks it does. From the ankle up fits snugg to bearly loose and still offers great support, its padded and when your pants are over it the boot is completely dust proof, like stand in 3 feet of sawdust dust proof.I easily put 8-16 hours on these boots daily, have been for 2 years straight and they are just as comfortable as i bought them. Absolutely 0 foot fatigue by the end of one of these days. Mine look beat up, but have suffered minimal damage, i think the water proofing went around 1.5 years. Theres a small split in the treads probably about 1.5" back from the ball of your big toe. Besides this the tread still has a surprising amount of thickness to it, ive been walking on concrete,most concrete without a tooth, for all of the boots life. If you spend half the price of this boot yearly buy this for a two year haul that you wont regret. I love this boot, end of story.

Hello Again,Yes...I broke down and had to try another pair of boots for the USA and work. Carolina is truly one of the most comfortable boots I have encountered in work, while being on the job, and waterproof does not hurt. Composite Toe is perfect if I get into electrical work and for toe support if I was to drop something. Just for the case of facts, this boot holds true to superb manufacturing, it is Union Made, and it is made in America. All of these facts plus the fit have me coming back for more.Sincerely,Seth

Hello,I have been researching brands that are made in the USA. I found Thorogood and others. Carolina, the American mfg. boots, are without some of the best boots I have ever owned or tried on. I have two pair of Carolina boots, one steel toe and one composite toe, which fit well and perform well while I perform duties, i.e. like crouching, squatting, and kneeling. I have been wearing Carolina boots for several years now. They are high quality and worth the money. They are comparable to the older Red Wing boots that used to be made in the USA. Red Wings are no longer made in the USA, so i stopped buying them and started buying these. Whether its the 8" or 6" boot, they are great. I had originally wrote a review for this boot, but somehow it got in the 6" reviews. Boots will last well over a year if you take care of them. Mine are still going strong. If you wait until shoeline has the 40% off sale, These boots are a STEAL!! and no, I do not work for Carolina or shoeline.
