These are massive, tough boots with steel toe protection. There is plenty of room in them to allow wearing heavy wool socks. They are tall and hefty enough to assist with ankle stability. Breaking in them in now and plan to wear them a lot. If you are looking for a tough boot these are the ones!

Not sure if the fit is too short or the toe box is too small. Either way I got a bit of rub on the top of foot from the steel toe. Overall a good looking boot, and mostly comfortable to wear all day. We will see how well they hold up, and if getting them broke in fixes the toe rub issue.

I have buying this boot for the past 20 years as a union rodbuster they are the best boots I have ever worn out, I will never buy any other boot again I even have a pair for every day use they are so comfy I don't even own a pair of sneakers

this is an excellent choice for people who work on concrete floors, as the sole is very comfortable. normally im a 10.5 which i returned for a 10 wide (2E). they are not the best choice for durability.. i wouldn't recommend them for rough field work, and while stick welding the slag burnt right into the soles. still they are the most comfortable pair of work boots ive owned

Very satisfied with this boot as it is closest to the Carolina #829s I used to get always until discontinued. Their comfort is only matched by their durability--both important to someone who works on their feet all day. Shoeline.com's low pricing, great selection, ease of ordering, and speed of delivery is just icing on the cake. I would highly recommend both, the boot and Shoeline, to anyone. Took me awhile to find them, but I'm now a customer for life.

I've been wearing this same model boot for at least six years, wearing out a bout a pair a year. I've had both 10d and 10ee, and both have fit fine. This pair seams to have a very stiff tongue, and gave me blisters on the top of both my feet the first day. I have passed them on to a charity and I may order the same boot in a 10ee. We'll see.

I am a heavy equipment operator and these boots allow me to enter and exit equipment without a big "logger" type heel catching on the steps. I usually get a couple seasons out of a pair and have been wearing these boots for about 20 years. They are very sturdy and comfortable. The best boots I've ever owned!

The boot has the best leather I have ever seen on a work boot. This is my first pair of Carolina's. It will not be the last. The soles will be the first thing to wear out for sure. I have been wearing work boots for the last 16 years of my life. This is the best fitting boot for me.

My husband is an industrial painter and works mainly on steel structures. He is very particular about his footwear. The Carolina Wedge-sole boot is the only boot he will wear. This boot fits him perfectly and is the most comfortable to wear for 10 hours everyday.

I bought these boots two years ago and was very pleased by the fit and comfort. However the main selling point was that they were Made in the U.S.A. I finally wore them out and bought the same boots again without hesitation. to my dismay the are now manufactured in china.

In my opinion Carolina makes the most comfortable work boots ever They take a little longer than others to break in but it’’s well worth the effort. The only downside is that the soles tend to crumble away if cut or punctured in any way.

Hands down Carolina boots are the best. This is my 5th pair of Carolinas and they just like the previous 4 pair I’’ve owned continuously blow me away. I am a landscaper and need extra tough boots steel toe is a must and these fit my high standards exceedingly well. This pair fits just a tad on the large side but I feel not enough so as to say they fit a half size larger. I like to stick an extra insole in mine for added comfort which slims up the extra space anyway. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. SHOELINE IS THE 1 PLACE TO BUY CAROLINAS. I even got free 2nd day shipping
