So far these boot are great. The leather is thick and tough feeling and the rubber insert on the outsole provides excellent traction where the leather falls short.

The DoubleH Allen appears well-constructed. Heavy leather, sturdy leather sole with rubberized insert. Heel is a nice height for walking, yet maintains the cowboy heel design. Can't speak to long term wear, but my wife has a similar pair of DoubleH boots and loves them.
