The Carolina Lt 650 felt a half size smaller and very cramped. I took out the removable foot liner and compared it to my Carolina core basic CA 3513 foot liner and the Lt 650 was definitely a 1/4 inch shorter in length. Even trying to put your foot into the boot with the laces completely loose was very hard. They are a very light boot, but if they don't fit right there's no way your going to wear them for 12 hours a day. I'm sending them back. So far I've purchased 2 Carolina Gold and 3 pairs of Carolina Core Basics in size 8 1/2 2E and they all fit comfortably. I found that not all Carolina boots fit the same and unfortunately you have to try several styles until you find the one that fits.
