These in 11.5 D fit perfectly, they aren't heavy at all considering that they are basically a leather pac boot! In 14° with a lot of standing/and intermittent walking on concrete with 3" of snow and ice on top of it, my feet stayed warm and dry. Great extreme weather boots.

Had to order up a half size and wider width but the boot is sturdy, waterproof, sturdy, good sole. Very happy with item.

Great boot. Been getting Carolinas for a while but this is the first time I got this boot. Very warm with the 800 granm insulation and very comfortable with the pillow cushion. My feet never hurt. Carolina boots in general hold up very well and so do these particular boots. They never get any holes in them and are completely waterproof the whole lifetime of the boot. These boots hold up just as good as the big name brand boots and literally a fraction of the price. Will be buying them again

These are very well made like all Carolinas, but I have wide feet. Some 2E are wide enough, but these were ridiculously tight, even though I ordered 12's instead of my usual 11's. The lining and padding are so thick around the ankle that once on, they resemble moon boots--larger around the ankle than the forefoot, and they're hot. The soles look durable, the materials are great quality, but the fit is odd. Sending em back. Bummer. If you wear a D, I'd try these in the 2E.
