THIS IS MY FOURTH PAIR OF THESE BOOTS, NOT BECAUSE THEY WEAR OUT BECAUSE THEY ARE THE BEST BOOTS I HAVE EVER BOUGHT. I USE THEM AT WORK, I USE THEM TO HIKE, AND I WEAR THEM AS MY EVERYDAY SHOE. THEY ARE THE MOST COMFORTABLE BOOT I HAVE EVER OWNED, AND ARE BUILT TO LAST. I STILL OWN MY FIRST PAIR AND USE THOSE AS MY WORK BOOTS - THEY ARE STILL IN PERFECT CONDITION. I REALLY CAN'T SAY ENOUGH FOR THIS BOOT - DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND BUY A PAIR.

The finest, most comfortable, longest-lasting boot I wore in 22 years of Army service. I own this model plus a pair of Matterhorns. I purchased a pair of these in 2005 and they endured a 21-month deployment to Afghanistan plus several years of service. After TEN years of wear, they finally gave out today (in June 2015). Well worth the money! And the best part? They were as comfortable as wearing running shoes!

Getting ready to purchase my third pair. I wear these for conducting archaeologial survey, which means lots of miles in nasty terrain: desert mountains to watery lowlands. Thus far, it has taken on average four years to wear out a single pair; eight years of wearing this style and brand. Only when the soles are smooth and the leather torn are they replaced or rather sent to glory.

I purchase a pair of these back in 2005 at Fort Sam Houston during OBS. I wore them as a National Guard Soldier for Drill Weekends and Anual Training continuously. Then I used them throughout a tour in Afghanistan in 08-09. I finally ripped the leather in PA during Training there because I didn’’t put conditioner on them after they got wet. I was a sad day when they finally wore out and it was my fault if I’’d let them dry out and used conditioner they probably still be going strong. So I just purchased a new pair and I have high hopes of long and confortable life with this new pair. Oh they wear like tennis shoes. I love them.

I have worn boots in the Marine Corps Harley Boots Hiking boots and this boot is instantly formed to fit. I thougt the price was high but it is worth every cent. Easy to wear no blisters. After the first day it feels like you have had these boots for years..very cool very light...GREAT BOOT.
