These boots are not as beat up as the image, no aged boots are, the manufacturer just color and stain them to resemble wear. With that said, I love these boots. Fit and quality is outstanding. They do have an aged look from a distance,but add some neutral polish and with the beautiful wood soles and heels, they look sharp. Abuse them a bit, if you want a more rugged look. I am sure they can handle it.
