Awesome boot after they're broken in. The metatarsal guard can be a little stiff in the beginning but overall great boot.

I've worn Carolina boots for over a decade now and these are the best boots I've ever owned for working in the construction industry. I have been dealing with plantar fasciitis for the first time in my life for about three months. I've tried inserts and gel cups and nothing was really helping and I did not expect these boots to do anything other than be good boots. To my surprise over the last month my plantar fasciitis is no longer bothering me and I expect to be completely healed within another month. Buy these boots!

I love the look of these boots and have gotten compliments on them the first day I wore them. I purchased the wide with and these were still to narrow for my feet. My feet, especially the right foot hurt like heck from wearing them about half a day. The narrowness of the boot wasn't as bad as the met guard. It felt uncomfortable as the met guard felt like it was pressing on the top of my feet.All that said it is a very nice boot, but not for me. To be fair, I've never had boots with a met guard and didn't know what to expect.Also, I don't know the true width of my feet. I have always bought wide boots and shoes that were fine. These boots were sized 2EE. My feet may be a 4EE, my fault for not checking my true size. I may replace the original insert with a thinner one to see if that helps.If not, I'll give the boots to my teenage grandson. Again, very nice boots, but if you have a wide foot they may not be for you.

This boot has a very good feel and they are very lightweight. It seems to have good arch support and feels very good on my feet. Only one negative point: The boots have only hooks for the laces 2 rows down from the top. I would prefer to have at least 3 rows down or better yet 4 rows. This will allow the boot to be put on/off easier and quicker.

so far so good. I have ordered carolinas maybe 6 times and only once dissapoint because the glue separated from sole early. But the goods have heavily outweiged the bads, and shopping for boots in Hawaii is a pain, so free shipping is the shiz!these seem sturdy and are comfy.

The boot was 2E but it seemed too tight. Especially the top of my foot hurt due to the extended toe protection
