Very Nice looking boot and seems very comfortable when putting on for the first time. Have not worn them for extended period of time yet so there may be some breaking in but that's to be expected with a quality built boot. I have narrow feet and have always worn a D width boot/shoe because that's all I can normally get.. I purchased D width and they seemed to fit much better than any other D width boot I have purchased so would say they probably run narrow. I would also say they run about a half size long.

The boots are a good shoe. But had to take insert out to wear them because they made the fit right almost too narrow.

I have had several pairs of Carolina Kodiak (also USA made) steel toe in a size 9.5B and have been very happy with them. I decided to give this composite toe style a try and although they appear to be an extremely high quality boot I could barely get my foot in them. They run small and very narrow. Also, I personnally prefer the higher cut ankle of the kodiak.

My husband wears these to work everyday. He has been wearing Carolina shoes for several years but these American made ones are the bestie his opinion! he says that they are more comfortable and lighter in weight.

Best work boot I have had in 25 years of concrete work. This is my second pair. Such high quality. Seams don't come apart. Comfortable being on my feet all day pounding. Added bonus: feet remain dry when standing in 4-5 inches of muddy water for hours. Love these boots.

IMO, these boots are about 1/2 size long and very narrow. I have never purchased wide shoes or boots before and in these boots the EE were to narrow, went with EEEE. One pair I received had a defect where the tongue started.

The boot comes with a removable Polyurethane footbed, I wear custom orthotics after removing their footbed, I found the mesh lining under the heal gathered with ridges, puckers and extra material glued down not just to heal area but also in the ball and toe area. I also found under the heal area a matrix, the inner support of a partially hollow heal. Not a flat sole across the bottom of the shoe but an open matrix covered with gathered mesh material. I installed my orthotics over this but I can still feel the unevenness. I have Plantar Fasciitis so I am more sensitive than most people about my feet. I contacted Carolina and they investigated the situation. They explained to my company store this is the standard way this boot is manufactured and the removable Polyurethane footbed is supposed to cover any imperfections. They have been making them this way since they started to make this model shoe and no one else has complained about it before. This is a sturdy well-made boot, a little

GREAT QUALITY BOOT. MADE IN USA MAKES IT WORTH IT. LEATHER IS SOFTER, SO WILL TAKE LESS TIME TO BREAK-IN. I HAVE ONLY BEEN WEARING FOR A WEEK AND NO PROBLEMS SO FAR. WE WILL SEE HOW LONG THEY LAST.
