Im extremely happy with my Corcoran 1511 Jump Boots. They are well made with leather uppers, mid sole and good year welt construction. I dont think you can find a better pair of boots for the price. My only complaint is the color. I plan on stripping off the brown paint/dye used and re dying to achieve a more antiqued and burnished appearance. I would buy again, again and again and hope the are never discontinued.
Fits just like the old sage colored boots. Rugged, durable and professional appearance. Will last for 12-18 months if worn every day.
If you have muscular calfs this boot may require that you add an additional hole in the strap.
Since Corcoran had their first black Jump boots they had me bought for life!!! As long as I have been in uniform these boots were such a comfort for being on my feet all day. When our uniform changed, so did my boots. I had to get me a pair of Corcoran in tan. Perfect for parades and the office. I can stay on my feet all day with comfort and no pain. Now our uniform is changing again and I got me my Coyote tan, SWEET!!! Fits perfect, already laced up and ready to go to work!!
First time buy from shoeline.com,website was recommended by friend. Satisfied with purchase, fast and free delivery.
This boot survived the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda: feet remained dry in drenching rainy jungle, ankles supported perfectly while trekking horizontally on steep mountain terrain, and light? I have sneakers that are heavier.Case closed.
Great boot. I have purchased these boots to get me threw the tough winters of Siberian China and I think they will do just that. The boots are very large more so in length than width. I ordered a size 11 and they are clearly a size 12 if not more and feel quite narrow for me having a wider than average foot. So I would suggest ordering at least a size smaller than your normal. Overall, a great tough boot.
Getting ready to purchase my third pair. I wear these for conducting archaeologial survey, which means lots of miles in nasty terrain: desert mountains to watery lowlands. Thus far, it has taken on average four years to wear out a single pair; eight years of wearing this style and brand. Only when the soles are smooth and the leather torn are they replaced or rather sent to glory.
