This is the second pair of Hi-Tec Altitude IV i have owned. The first pair I owned while I was working for a moving company. A good pair of boots is a must for this line of work going up and down walk boards and customers muddy yardssnow and slick walk boards. I have also used them to hike in and they have the proper support and tread needed to hike challenging trails

Great shoe I waited three months before I wrote this review to make sure I was happy. I have problems finding a good shoe that wont hurt my feet. I dont care how much they cost I usually buy red wing shoes and pay twice the price. I am a car technican in phx az and on my feet ten hors a day. The only thing I will say is this shoe is a little warmer than the red wing but comfort and fit are perfect Shoeline is a great company. This was my first purchase. It took me three shoes to find this one. Free shipping both ways and hassle free returns. They have earned my business for life Customer service was A plus plus

I purchased these shoes for my husband. He decided recently to add a brisk 5 mile walk to his daily schedule. His western boots would not do. Hence the current purchase of Hi Tec hiking boots along with some good wool socks. From the first day he walked in them he has been very pleased with the performance and fit of these boots. No pinching no blisters no problem. We would definitely recommend them to anyone.

have only been worn twice but the comfort level was very good with only a bit of rub at the top of the collar. hiked for over seven hours one day and had no hot spots good traction easy to walk in. good boots.

This is a good boot so far. I owned Hi-Tec boots years ago and loved them. Cheap and lasted a long time. It took a week and a half to get theses in the mail. They had to ship them directly from Hi-Tec which is in California. That is why I will give it four stars instead of five.

I have not worn these boots in the field yet. However I can tell that they are high quality and are light weight. Also the steel shank makes them great for climbing towers and protecting one’’s feet.

I had bought a pair of Ti Tech a few years ago and were still wearing them when I ordered these. Highly recommend this boot I received the boots and tried them on. They felt like they had already been broken in. We were to get 3 inches of snow over already 2 inches of ice the next day. Wore them with no problem that next day - ALL DAY - walking over 7 miles on that ice and snow. Great warmth excellent traction wonderful comfort and waterproof. Will get this same boot again

This was a hassle-free way to purchase quality hiking boots at a decent savings without running all over town. Shoeline also included a prepaid shipping label in the event the shoes didn’’t fit - in my case not necessary but nice to know they had addressed that contingency.
