This is my first pair of Carolina boots. In the past I have worn redwings and rockys. So far these boots are every bit as good. The only thing I wish this pair of boots had was an oil resistant sole. I also was refereed to Carolina boots by a friend because he said they are made in the USA. However I found that not all their boots are. Still a good boot
