awesome boot. purchased them for riding. the new bike sits higher so between a new seat and the bootsi am able to be flat footed once again. The sole provides a sure grip and the confidence i was looking for in my footing. thanks for a great product for a good price

I bought my first pair about six months ago and just ordered my second pair im a construction worker so im on my feet all day long. i wear them seven days a week from hunting church working the farmriding my harley or going out on a date. they were comfy from the first time i laced them up red wings have nothing on them

I am a hiker. I purchased these boots because I was tired of hiking boots made of foam molded rubber and leather scraps. These are advertised as work boots but are designed for loggers who after all were serious outdoorsmen. Today I strapped them on for a 7-mile New England trail of ice mud rock spring freshets and knee-deep snow. Carolina makes an awesome boot. At the end of the trail my feet were dry warm and happy. These boots are sin-heavy compared to the reinforced tennis shoes that are sold today as hiking boots but if you can deal with the weight you can’’t make a better purchase. Thank you Carolina for making these boots and thank you Shoeline for carrying my size 14 4EE.

Not a lot of room in the instep . If you have a high instep which I do not I’’d recommend 1/2 size larger. I had to switch to thin socks though the boots aren’’t fully broken in. Also this is WITHOUT an insole which they don’’t come with . Most insoles cramp my toes in the toebox anyway.
