I use to buy the Carolina Gold boots. These Core Basic boots are more comfortable for walking unlike the Carolina Gold boots which were more for standing. I also like the fact that they are waterproof too. The boots are stiff at the beginning but after break-in they are really comfortable and I keep them on all day. I’’m on my 2nd pair and I have 3rd pair when these go.

Have only had these boots for a short time so I found it hard to give an overall rating. I would like to see how well they hold up if they last me a year in my profession then I would have given them a 5 for overall rating. Send me an email for a review in a year for a truer review.

Very stiff at first but after a week very comfortable. I’’ve worn them in the rain snow and ice already and so far these are warmer than my former boots and waterproof.

The work shoe is very comfortable. Still needs time to soften up the leather. Fits true to size. LIked the free shipping and arrived in the time advertised. Price was good compared to all the stores I shopped around for looking at similar work boots

This is the second pair of these Ive ordered for my Brother the mechanic. Christmas present He has been buying boots now for his job for the last 16 years and says these are the best he has ever had. The first pair I got him is 2 yrs old now and have had a hard life yet they havent ripped out and the soles are not worn through. Only thing he has had to do is replace the boot laces in 2 years

Sorry but the right boot just rubs on toe and side of leg. Wore for one day but could not take it any more. Could I exchange for a lower cut or a shoe with a steel toe. Paul
