The last two pairs that I’’ve bought lasted almost two years each. I only buy the American made Carolina boots now after many 6 month boots. They are very comfortable and have almost no breakin period. I wear them 10+hours a day 5-6 days a week.

I’’ve purchased this boot in the past. I don’’t know what the other reviewers do for a living. I work in mine EVERY day as a landscaper. They’’ll last me about 6 months tops. They will still be wearable but they will be broken DOWN I will buy this boot again if the price is right. It is a good boot and lasting me 6 months is saying something. On my rare day off I wear them working in my yard so that will be 6 months of being worked in almost every single day Great boot. Great price. Cheaper .... or less quality boots last me about 3 to 4 months.

They were comfortable right out of the box and are still just as comfortable. I’’m not much on a product review until I’’ve used it for a while. The boots fit great and after about four months of 12 hr shifts in a machine shop the boots are still comfortable and holding up great.

Carolina boots are the best that you can buy just be sure to get the MADE IN USA boots and not the imported China versions of the carolina style 1309. The color of the boots is also quite a bit darker than the pictures but they look better than the pics when you see them in person.

I just bought my first pair of real work boots and chose this shoe after doing a lot of research. I got the boots sooner than expected and loved them from the moment I put them on. They are very comfortable and lighter than expected. Since I bought these in the middle of winter I immediately went to a local boot retailer and bought some waterproofing leather treatment. Wore them in the rain on the first day and had no problems or damage to the leather. If you do the same just make sure you buy the all-natural stuff no silicone paraffin etc. I’’ll definitely be buying Carolina again

Seems like pretty quality workmanship but by far the heaviest boots I’’ve ever worn. Sadly the same problem I have found with wide sizes from other steel toe boots. I am forced to buy boots that are way too big for me to assure that my toes are nowhere near the toe box. There is plenty of room in the 4E until you get to the steel toe and then it seems like they stole it from a smaller size shoe I don’’t know...maybe I should start my own line of steel toe boots for guys with big and wide feet. I have seen steel toes with boxy looking toe caps but they don’’t come in my size. I can’’t be the only guy required to have safety toe boots who has encountered this problem.

Narrow width footwear is impossible to find at retail stores so finding 12B boots here was great. I carefully measured my feet before ordering and the Carolina Kodiaks fit perfectly - amazingly comfortable after living most of my life in grotesquely over-wide shoes. They are so nice I haven’’t worn them yet to do any work I don’’t want to mess them up this soon.

I have worn these shoes for 7.5 years. I’’m on my 6th pair. I’’m hard on them too. I can’’t seem to wear them out. It’’s about 16 months before the insoles are no longer supportive in the arch area They’’re the most comfortable steel toed boots I’’ve ever bought. The company I work for allows $100 each year toward boots I am glad to pay the difference. These boots feel good right out of the box. I hope they make them for years to come. I’’ve tried many other brands and styles and I can’’t say enough how much more I like them than any other

Sir/Madam I am extremely pleased with my Carolina Boots. After one day of wear I spent two days in the So. California back country walking on some hillsides and decomposing granite boulders. I ordered this boot because it is American made and I assumed it would be sized correctly. I ordered a size 11.5 4E hoping for a wider boot than I currently wear. The steel toe is actually 1/4" narrower than my Carolina 3598 Size 11-2E. I haven’’t worn them yet because I’’m hoping to eventually get a Return Authorization. I’’m disapointed By the size misrepresentation and by the whole internet shopping experience.
