As a former Army paratrooper, Ive spent a lot time in Corcoran jump boots, and have great fondness for them. They are made in the USA, and are Airborne tough! They are very stiff at first and need to be broken in, but remember these are meant to help support your feet and ankles for parachute jumping and combat. Once properly broken in, I dont think there is a more comfortable boot. Im so pleased with the Historic Brown Corcoran Jump Boots, and shoeline.com service, that I will be ordering a second pair.

These. Are. Awesome! I was Infantry and a paratrooper who went through my entire Army career suffering from jump/combat boots that were too narrow for my (freakishly-wide) feet. These are comfortable and the uppers are even wide enough for my thick calves. They'll take a while to break in, but I get that - it's a feature of well-made shoes and boots. I'd write some more compliments, but I'm going to go for a road-run in these just to relive the old days!

This really is an excellent pair of boots. The construction is sturdy and the materials are quite tough. The only problem I had with these boots was the break in time. I wore them under normal use(two or three times a week) for a year and about a month ago I wore them on a 20 mile hike. They were not nearly broken in enough to be comfortable in rough terrain. The hike did break them in though, and they are now the most comfortable boots I own. And best of all they are made in the USA.

My first pair of Cochran’’s cost me less than $20.00. Of course they were black and that was over 40 years ago. Some things never change though. This is absolutely the finest boot I have ever owned. I am a WWII reenactor and I am the absolute envy of all my other buddiesThey were only a few dollars more and yet I know that I am buying quality as I made almost 75 static line jumps with my first pair and they lasted me five years with only one replacement of the heels necessary. I expect these to last me the rest of my life. Cochran Company you made this old Paratrooper happy

Very sturdy construction on these boots. They come with two sets of laces nylon boot laces and rawhide both well made and strong. I have received numerous compliments on these boots and I am often asked where I got them. They do take a little while to break in but that is because of the sturdiness of the materials. A few days of breaking in are well worth the heirloom quality these fine boots posses.

Nice boots. Still breaking them in. Had to return first pair as they were too big both length and width. Went a half size smaller and the D width instead of EE and now they fit very well. Return was super easy.

These boots are of the same quality I wore during my military time. The boots are constructed to grab the heel of the foot and provide a good arch to the foot. The toes move freely without restriction. I have never had a blister or pain from wearing these boots even in military field time in the mohave desert in survival training. Also they are made in the USA. I will continue to purchase them.

Great boot. Consturction is top notch all the way around. Highly recommended and made in the USA Buy American if you’’re a patriot I find them to run a half size large. It will take a little bit of time to break them in when ordering a half size smaller but well worth it as they are as comfortable as slippers when done. Absolutely beautiful with a spit shine expect a lot of compliments.

Without doubt the best boot for ankle support/walking ever made. I proudly wore my Corcoran’’s in the U.S. Army at Fort Benning Georgia paratrooper school and as a drill sergeant at Fort. Ord California. Today I hike 3 miles a day wearing my Corcoran’’s. Note: These boots are not insulated nor should you get them wet. Perfect for three season hiking and bird watching.

These boots took about ten eight hour shifts to break in. Any perfectionist should not purchase these as they are not evenly matched from left to right with respect to stitching and appearance instep feel and the leather pieces used to form the boot have minor differences in size. This gives the result of the left boot looking tied tight and the right lose. Nevertheless they are good boots.
