I am usually an 8 -8.5 and ordered 8. Fit in length but a tiny bit narrow but can tell they will stretch . I like the small buckle in the calf area . I dont feel these are large in the calves like other reviewers have stated . I am 5'5 and perfect height . I own 2 other Born boots that have a shorter heal and was worried by this height would affect the comfort but it has not . They are of suede like material with a weathered look . They are super cute on . Got on sale but would be worth full price . Also Shoeline quickly shipped shoes and exceeded when I thought they would arrive . I got within a few days!
