The Bay Apache Crazy Horse Arctic Waterproof is a 6-inch tall men's lace-up boot crafted to keep you warm in extreme cold temperatures and yet still provide lightweight comfort. The rugged golden brown leather exterior features the Chip-A-Tex® waterproof membrane system. It's breathable but water is locked out of the boot by the membrane shield. It has Texon® 460 waterproof insoles that deliver heightened comfort through a moisture management lining system that's quick drying. This boot guarantees to keep your feet warm with 400 grams of 3M Thinsulate™ Ultra that's lightweight, breathable and moisture-resistant. It's loftier and thicker than original Thinsulate™ insulation for even greater warmth and comfort, yet still thin enough to allow complete freedom of movement and designed for some of the harshest conditions and retains insulating value in damp conditions. The Vibram® outsole provides maximum traction on wet and dry surfaces so this boot can withstand snow, ice, and rain. This style is proudly assembled in the USA with imported parts.

Shoeline had the boot I was looking for, great price and quick shipping with clearly an easy return process (which I won’t be needing). This was my first pair of real boots. I wanted something for all around. Outdoors, water proof, warm and with just a pair jeans out in town. That’s why I went with these from Chippewa. Just wearing them around the house on day 1 but so far I can tell I’m going to like these boots. They are comfy, my feet are toasty but not so warm they are sweating. I accidentally ordered a EEE not really knowing about boot width. It was a mistake that worked out in my favor. I don’t think I have wide feet but these feel fine with a boot sock. Good room in the toe box, I got messed up toes so the extra room should help. Looking forward to wearing these boots out in the sticks. Hiking, hunting or 4 wheeling.
