Born shoes, in addition to excellent quality, have always offered a more realistic "medium width" at the widest part of the foot. I can count on them NOT squeezing my feet or hurting my toes. The bottom of the shoe is "shaped" more like an athletic woman's foot - not too skinny. In other words, I don't need a wide size shoe; I can buy a medium Born and expect comfort. Thanks!
