These shoes are great and I associate them with the comfort of wearing an unrestrictive moccasin/ slipper type shoe. With that said, the achilles support is not as supportive however I don't expect to be walking long distances in these even though they wouldn't be tiring.Expect to wear as casual with good sole support.
