It would be super awesome if this and other size 10 and above shoes came in half sizes. a half size can make all the difference. Also, if all widths were available up to EEE. Some of us have long, wide feet and finding comfortable NICE LOOKING shoes is hard. I like the nurse mates. I have had some good, some bad. I had the Macie and now the Louise but had to send it back and get an 11 because there is no 10 1/2 :( the half size bigger would have been perfect. Im currently doing the exchange and hopefully the 11 will not be TOO long. thank you for listening.

Nurse Mates are all I wear for 12 hour shifts but, Not this pair. I liked the softness of the inside lining but, there was a pressure in the heel and the height of the arch/heel is much higher than the other lace ups styles. The size is about 1 entire size bigger, and almost the same in the width. I compare the "angel" same size and they were literally an inch longer.... Just not the ones for me. Sticking with the angel.

Due to past foot surgeries I have to order wide shoes. These shoes were true to the width however there is very little cushioning in the heal. I thought it being labeled as "nurses mates" it would provide decent heal support. But with an aftermarket heal support pads these shoes are comfortable to all day wear.

The Louise is the only shoe I have found to offer comfort style and a great fit all in one. The toe box is especially roomy which is hard to find these days. I have been ordering the Louise for nearly 10 years now. I would certainly give it an overall rating of 5 with one exception the lace loops. The shoes far outlast the lace loops. The first loops to go are always at the top where they are tied. At $4.00 a pop the repair cost mounts up quickly. Although eyelets would be stronger I realize that the loops may be more fashionable. However if you merely replaced the last one or two loops with eyelets I believe it would correct the problem without compromising the shoe’’s syle. The eyelets would bear the lion’’s share of the lace tension and the remaining loops would be less likely to break.Please consider this suggestion. Thank you.

I bought the shoes because I am on my feet at work and needed something comfortable with support like sneakers. I wear a 7.5 or 8 and ordered the 8 because I wear the sport socks with them. the first day I wore them I worked 8.5 hours and my feet were great My sister is a bank teller and she recommended them and I am so glad she did.

I have always ordered Louise Nurse Mates for the past 25 plus years for I’’m on my feet all day those shoes were the "Best of All" till the last pair I purchased for a friend and myself.I had recommended those shoes to my friend she had me order her a pair. We both were not happy this time our feet and legs hurt so bad we could just cry I’’m so sad for these shoes have always been my favorite now I’’m afraid to order another pair. I replace my work shoes every six months faithfully I emailed Shoeline.com to see if they were purchasing Nurse Mates from a different company told them about the bad experience I had with the two pairs I purchased and received no response from Shoeline.com

i recently had surgery on my right foot in august to repair a bunion. since i am on my feet 98 of the time performing my job i wanted something that was comfortable as our floors are made of cement. i purposely ordered the shoes larger and in a wide width. i normally wear a medium width. but i am pleased to say that they are the most comfortable shoe that i have experienced yet to work in. i really love them and will buy again. hopefully after my foot is completely well. i will be able to wear my regular size and width. it is an excellent shoe. great quality.

This pair of shoes just doesn’’t fit like the others I’’ve bought from you--they feel stiffer and have given me a blister on my big toe.....ouch I’’ve never had this problem before but I will think twice before buying again. I tried to support two locally owned uniform shops but unfortunately they either didn’’t have my size or style. I was really pleased with the turn-a-round time with Shoeline BUT I needed to send the pair they sent back for an exchange because the pair I received had obviously been worn. I stand on my feet at work all day and this is the best shoe I have had in a very long time that fits my very bad feet. The shoe is comfortable and very light. I wear orthotics and there is plenty of room in the shoe for them. However the sole is a little stiff which I hope will change with wear. This is my second pair I have purchased. First pair has lasted a year. I work as a resort valet and the shoes are subjected to rain/snow and heat all on blacktop bricks. Other than the "break-in" period they are very comfortable and durable. I do suggest the arch support be intensified as I wear arch inserts to enhance them.

I bought these for my daughter who is a chef. She needed slip resistant shoes for the kitchen but also something comfortable and supportive. She loves these shoes. She told me that these are probably the most comfortable shoes she has ever worn. WOW I am truly impressed with this shoe. I’’ve recently gone back to work and am on my feet 9-12 hrs. a day at a grocery store. The shoes I’’ve replaced are Nike Air and the Nurse Mate "Louise" right out of the box and the first full day of wear seem to do a better job. Just a "smidge" too big not by much tho. width was great A true wide. Third day in shoes and I am sure these will be the best shoes ever.
