I currently have the CA5821 which is the exact same boot with the steel toe. The fit is awesome (with exception) and they wear like iron. I'm not partial to steel toe shoes because I have an extremely wide foot and if I'm spend a lot of time squatting the steel toes become uncomfortable. I'm looking forward to this model fitting identically and not have the problem with the steel toes digging in. Based on how well these boots are holding up (had them about a year now), I would have to recommend them without hesitation.

Buying Boots online for the first time is a very frustrating process at least for me..I must say Customer Service was well beyond that of most.Returning the first pair was quite easy.Time will tell how these Boots hold up It is hard to really tell how they fit and feel when you have been wearing another style of boots for the last 10 plus years.

I have order this boot three times. I work out side in the construction field and they have held up well under all conditions. I have always liked that the souls had screws in the areas where other have always come apart on me at, but noticed this pair did not have the screws as pictured. Hope they hold up as my other pairs have.

I am a hiker. I purchased these boots because I was tired of hiking boots made of foam molded rubber and leather scraps. These are advertised as work boots but are designed for loggers who after all were serious outdoorsmen. Today I strapped them on for a 7-mile New England trail of ice mud rock spring freshets and knee-deep snow. Carolina makes an awesome boot. At the end of the trail my feet were dry warm and happy. These boots are sin-heavy compared to the reinforced tennis shoes that are sold today as hiking boots but if you can deal with the weight you can’’t make a better purchase. Thank you Carolina for making these boots and thank you Shoeline for carrying my size 14 4EE.

Not a lot of room in the instep . If you have a high instep which I do not I’’d recommend 1/2 size larger. I had to switch to thin socks though the boots aren’’t fully broken in. Also this is WITHOUT an insole which they don’’t come with . Most insoles cramp my toes in the toebox anyway.
