The Pennie shoe is a slip on and for Mom fits tight with anything but a stocking. Hopefully will leather will soften up over time. Going to order her a pair of lace ups as expect they will give her the flexibility she needs with a her socks - which aren't normal - not thick - cotton or cotton/polyester.

I like this shoes very much,I couldn't find them around here anywhere. But they run a little bit narrow. But the overall they are great.

Jury’’s still out. I’’m still trying to "break them in" walking around home - may yet have to return as they are so tight my feet go numb within 5 minutes I wear a C width but ordered these in "extra wide" based on info from reviews here. These are very narrow If they don’’t loosen up I will have to return. On the plus side they arrived quickly look very good. I’’m hoping they will loosen up.

I was pleased with the quality and speed of delivery. The shoe fits well however I got it in wide and though it fits ok I would have preferred a tad more width I can only wear nylon socks with them.
