Fit good overall. Had to get a different insole that was thinner to be comfortable. Otherwise boot fits good and wears in nicely. Pretty comfortable for a cheap boot.

After having foot problems and plenty of pain for years I purchase boots based on comfort even when they seem a bit pricey. I work in the petroleum industry and have owned this boot for approx seven years the only reason I am purchasing another pair is the padded cuffs have worn out the leather uppers are scuffed but in perfect condition I love these boots I work 12 to 14 hours on my feet alot. My feet never feel tired I would highly recomend Carolina Boots to anyone. These boots have a lot of room in the toe box.

My second pair of these. I’’ve tried a lot more expensive shoes but these work best for me being on concrete floors for 12hrs. a day. I wish they came already waterproofed but I can do that myself.

I’’ve purchased this same work boot 4 times over the past 5 years and have always been happy with the quality fit wear. I’’ve been wearing this new pair for a week now and have one complaint. For some reason the tongue on both boots is pulling towards the outside of shoe....sideways towards my ankle. It seems to be worse with the left boot and it puts the upper laces against my leg/sock. It makes the boots feel loose. I’’m hoping that they will break in and get better but am a little concerned that it may get worse.

This is my first steel toe boot -I’’ve got the callouses on the top of my toes to prove it- so I can only compare it with a non steel toe. I normally wear a 8.5EEEE. These boots only come in D and EE. So I got a 9EE which should fit like an 8.5EEE at the toes and vamp. It feels a bit looser but maybe it’’s because of the steel toe. The heel feels like a 9 -a little loose- but that’’s ok for a boot. It acts like it’’s an ESD shoe I don’’t think claims to be so. You won’’t get shocked anymore when touching heavy machinery with moving parts. The steel toe DOES work.
