Great light weight boots that also provide appropriate ankle support. Easy to run in - got this pair to use in the running events at the All Army Small Arms Championship. This is my third pair. The first lasted a year in Afghanistan. The second pair showed more rapid heel wear - probably because I was back and driving more than while in Afghanistan where I was jumping the Hindu Kush. Am very disappointed to learn that Matterhorn has discontinued this model boot.

These boots run about a full size large and the heel is a little wide. However they are very comfortable and the outsole grabs onto anything you step on. I’’ve worn Corcoran boots in the Military and ended up finding these jewels after going through two other pair of bootsHi-Tech Danner However if you are looking for a waterproof boot look elsewhere since there are two drain holes in the instep of each boot but if you don’’t mind getting you feet wet then go ahead. The amount of ankle support you get is unsurpassed and I have yet to find a pair of boots that can keep your ankles from rolling. This boot is a must for LE and Military. I only marked these down to a 4 due to the large heel and sizing difference. Shoeline.com definately takes care of you if you need to send them back for a different size. I will buy from them as long as they are around.

I liked the Trooper shoe better...it had a thicker sole and fit better but you discontinued it. The size of this shoe dress oxford does not fit the same as my other purchases from you. I am a 10 1/2 D...but the dress oxford was too small so I had to go with the size 11 medium....

I walk to and from work every day rain snow or shine - no excuses. I’’ve been doing this for a year and a half so it’’s reasonable to say that I’’ve walked 1000 miles in that time. I’’ve worn these boots every day. They just get more comfortable with time. The sole shows no sign of wear. The lace eyelets are showing some wear but they can easily be stitched. If you walk a lot buy them

These are the most comfortable boots I have worn in many years.I had always worn these same style of boots in the military but could’’nt find them in stores once I got out.Finding them on your site was like finding a long lost friend.
